Fuchsia Wedding at The Lafayette in Downtown Buffalo

Fuchsia peonies accented by beautiful pops of white and purple create a stunning bridal bouquet. The flower girl carried a complementary assortment of flowers in a simple white handled basket tied with a white ribbon.

The junior bridesmaids carried pomander balls made of roses, freesia and stock in complementing colors to the bride.

St. Mary's Swormville NY Wedding Flowers

The ceremony held at St. Mary’s in Swormville was accented by two vases of fresh flowers on each side of the altar.

The reception held at The Lafayette in Downtown Buffalo popped with bouquets of gladiolus and stock in vibrant fuchsia and simple white.

Tall cylinder vases provide a modern look to complement the feel of the Lafayette.

The tables alternated between all white arrangements of gladiolus and all fuschia arrangements of stock.

Rose Petal Aisles for Real Buffalo Weddings

Rose petals demarcate the aisle for the Bride and create a romantic ambiance for her Bridal march. Below are some examples of how the design team at Lipinoga Florist can create a beautiful aisle of rose petals.

The wedding shown (below left) held at Glen Oak in Amherst, NY featured a combination of varying shades of pink roses petals in a lush and simple elegant aisle.

Wedding Flowers Java NY

The wedding shown (above right) is an example of using rose petals on the sides of the aisle to create a beautiful path. This wedding held at Beaver Hollow in Java, NY featured a combination of fall colored rose petals for a seasonal feel.

The wedding shown above held at the Bride’s private residence in Clarence, NY shows how simple white petals pop against green grass to create a truly simple yet beautiful look. White roses petals line not only the aisle but also are used to create an “S” in the center of the aisle to symbolize the first letter of their last name. The aisle was also lined with galvanized buckets filled with hydrangea.

Purple and Lavender Wedding Flowers for a Wedding at Avanti Mansion in Hamburg, NY

Lipinoga Florist designed a beautiful combination of lavender, white and purple flowers for a wedding at the Avanti Mansion in Hamburg, NY. Both the wedding ceremony and reception were held outdoors, the ceremony was held by the pond and the reception under a tent on the Avanti Mansion grounds.

The bride carried a bouquet made by owner, Nancy Lipinoga, which included white roses, purple lisianthus and white stephanotis. The bridesmaids carried bouquets of orchids and lisianthus.

The flower girl carried a small nosegay of lavender orchids and purple edged lisianthus accented with a plum ribbon.

Tall centerpieces in pilsner vases with a combination of orchids, hydrangea and lisianthus made a striking statement in the tent. Tables alternated between tall and low arrangements so flowers captured your eye no matter where you looked in the reception area.

An elegant cake by Ohlson’s Bakery, was accented by fresh lisianthus and hydrangea to follow through with the color scheme.

The ceremony area was accented by lisianthus and mixed greenery with white bows. Buffalo is a beautiful location for an outdoor summer wedding and the combination of summer blooms enhanced the evening reception at Avanti Mansion. Roses

Roses are one of the most popular blooms of all time. Their lush round bloom of many petals offers a subtle scent which will not overpower your day. Roses are a wonderful choice for all types of arrangements, bouquets and boutonnieres and are available in wide array of colors including, red, white, coral, peach, pink, hot pink, lavender, ivory, yellow, soft yellow, orange in wide variety of shades and variations.

Stock

Stock is a fragrant stalk like flower which features clusters of small blossoms on a tall stem. Stock is beautiful in many types of arrangements and is classically elegant in bouquets.

Stephanotis

One of the most popular bridal blooms, stephanotis is a small star shaped flower most popularly used in bridal bouquets and corsages.

Bells of Ireland (member of the mint family)

Even if you are not Irish, you will love the fresh scent of bells of Ireland(which is a member of the mint family). Tall light green stalks hold small bell shaped leaf like flowers. These are a beautiful flower for tall centerpieces or ceremony and reception flowers.

Fresh Lavender

Autumn Flowers for a Wedding at Becker Farms

Becker Farms is a unique location for a rustic outdoor wedding ceremony and reception. Anyone who grew up in Western New York has fond memories of visiting Becker Farms, and now many couples are creating memories of their own holding their weddings there.

Flowers adorn the ceremony site located at Vizcarra Vineyards. Kale, Chinese lanterns, roses and assorted fall flowers in autumnal hues accent the archway.

Chinese Lanterns, greenery, roses, calla lilies and roses create a unique card holder when surrounding a bird cage.

The bridal bouquet, designed by owner, Nancy Lipinoga, was a beautiful cascading bouquet of ivory roses, orange roses and mini calla lilies, with accents of greenery and Chinese lanterns.

Her bridesmaids carried smaller cascading bouquets of fall colored roses and mini calla lilies accented by hanging amaranthus and Chinese lanterns.

Wedding Flowers at Canalside Lockport, NY

Canalside located adjacent to the Lockport Locks has an outdoor ceremony area adjacent to the water where couples can exchange vows.

Simple white chairs are dressed up for a wedding ceremony with galvanized pails filled with purple and green flowers with accents of lime green berries.

The pails overflow with hydrangea, plum carnations and green hypericum berries.

Terrarium centerpieces create a pop of green inside the crisp white reception area at Canalside.

Green house plants are accented with a touch of purple flowers in a terrarium and surrounded by loose greenery. The terrariums can be taken home by guests and kept in their homes to grow on for years as a memory of the wedding day.

Chrysanthramum: November Flower of the Month

Chrysanthramums are the birth month flower for November. Commonly known as “mums” this flower variety has many different varieties; all loved worldwide for their hardiness and longevity. Mums are the official flower of the City of Chicago and are a symbol of cheerfulness. Below are some of the most popular types of mums:

Button Mums

Button Mums are available in yellow, white and lime green. They are an adorable accent flower for bridal bouquets. Green button mums complement the purple and white flowers nicely in the bouquet shown above.

Cushion Mums

Cushion Mums are lush and have many petals giving them a look similar to a dahlia. The bouquet shown above has a mix of cushion mums, dahlias, hydrangea and delphinium. They are a mid-sized blossom available in white, yellow, lavender and fall colors.

Daisy Mums

Daisy Mums are one of the most popular forms of both daisies and mums. Loved for being one of the longest lasting flowers, daisies are available in a wide variety of colors such as white, yellow, lavender, plum, rust and burgundy. Viking Mums

Ivory and Orange Roses are accented by navy blue berries and natural birch branches to create a simple yet rustic bridal bouquet.

Simple clutch style bridesmaid bouquets of orange roses, ivory spray roses and natural birch branches with accents of navy blue berries are wrapped ½ way in navy ribbon to complement the bridesmaids’ dresses and give a pop of color.

Lilies, Snapdragons, Roses and more berries and twigs surround the couple’s unity candle for their ceremony at St. Benedict’s Church in Snyder, NY.

Simple rose boutonnières are accented by a curled birch branch and some navy berries. The groom is wearing an ivory rose and his groomsmen orange to match the bridesmaids.
